Some Policy Changes Effective Aug 11,2008

A summary of the changes:

1- Changed all instances of "Fusion Deck" to "Extra Deck" and added references to Synchro Monsters where there were only Fusion Monsters.

2- Maximum main Deck size is now 60 cards. Minimum remains at 40.

3- Maximum Extra Deck size is now 15 cards. Extra Deck still follows appropriate Forbidden/Limited List restrictions.

4- Multi-Trigger Effects of Monsters are now called "Quick Effects." This wasn't specifically called out ...

Jinzo-Returner/Hand Destruction

Hand Destruction reads "Each player sends 2 cards from their hand to the graveyard and draws 2 cards".

If jinzo returner is sent to the graveyard by the effect of hand destruction would it get it's effect?

The wording of hand destruction makes it seem like sending 2 cards to the graveyard and drawing 2 cards resolve as part of the same chain link and should be considered to occur simultaneosly...

According to RONIN, this seems like it should work because of the ruling ...

Continuous Trap Cards with Ignition Like-Effects

When you activate (flip face-up) a Continuous Trap Card that has an Ignition-like effect, you can choose to activate that effect. The Ignition-like effect does not create an additional Chain Link. You simply state if you will also activate the effect of the Continuous Trap Card at the same time you activate the card itself.

Thank you to everyone who came out and braved the mess that is Harley Steele Hall and the Sanctuary.The brute strength that we had was what it took to get the job done out there. There's still quite a bit to do but most of the work will now be done by certified contractors. All we have to do now is sit patiently and wait for the opportunity to begin the process of rebuilding and remodeling. There will be plenty of opportunity for things like painting, etc. Keep watching ...

As of 11:00 a.m. this morning, the Corridor Recovery website listed the church's address as safe for re-entry. That is all that is known. Pastor Bob has been contacted about this wonderful news. He will be responsible for coordinating cleanup volunteers so until we hear from him, just have those work gloves and old clothes at the ready. Zombie Master - Ruling reversal

Konami recently sent us a ruling reversal for "Zombie Master" that involved activating its effect while there are no Zombie-Type monsters in the Graveyard.

The new ruling is as follows and will be added to the FAQ:

"You cannot activate "Zombie Master's" effect if there are no Level 4 or lower Zombie-Type monsters in the Graveyard, even if you would discard one to activate the effect."
